We were so ready for a day at a water park, and I needed more of a Disney fix, so we decided to go to Typhoon Lagoon. Parking here was free, which was great, and we managed to get a spot near the front.
After getting changed and putting our belongings in a locker, we headed towards the beach. There were an array of sunbeds to choose from, so we secured two not too far from the pool.
We did all the rides in under 2 hours as it wasn’t busy and to be honest; this park is definitely for children rather than adults. The rides were well-intended for them, but I enjoyed them none the less.
The best part for us about Typhoon Lagoon was the tidal wave pool. We had soooooo much fun trying to jump the waves, and it was just lovely to be in the water on a hot day.
We then spent the next hour sunbathing and eating our lunch and then we decided to call it a day. It was a nice break from the other full-on parks, and I did enjoy the theming, but in all honesty, I probably won’t end up coming back here until we have children of our own.
Have you been?
