Blogmas Day 19 | Christmas Parties

This year is mine and Barney’s first Christmas in our new flat, so it seemed only right that we threw a few gatherings for our friends and family.

Our party supplies were mainly from Asda. We picked up some gorgeous Gold Sparkle Champagne Flutes (we were too scared to use our glass ones in case they got smashed!) and some lovely ‘Tis The Season To Be Jolly’ napkins. We managed to match our napkins with a White and Gold Table Runner and paper plates.

We bought some charger plates in gold and black from Dunelm which helped us to pile on the food but still look festive. The pièce de résistance, however, was our Christmas Tree Drinks Dispenser again from Dunelm. We filled this with bottles of Bucks Fizz, ice and sliced orange/lemon/limes. It looks great and helped to make it extra special. We also bought a few Star Bowls from Wilkinsons which again just helped our spread more festive.

We served a range of food, including pigs in blankets, Christmas tree-shaped chicken satay on sticks and chicken nuggets. We served a cheese board (what Christmas is complete without cheeseboard!?!) and I made sausage rolls.

I bought some festive photo booth props which we loved to take selfies with and just a fun part to add to the evenings!

I made a playlist full of the Christmas classics and we all just had a great time getting merry and feeling the festive spirit!

Have you had any get-togethers this year?

Such a cute idea to have a mini photobooth with props! Sounds like it was a great christmas party. I haven't hosted a christmas party of my own but next year when I have more time I want to go all out and do something great. Lovely post! Holly x |

Thank you so much Holly! Apologies for the delayed response, my comment section hasn’t been working. Christmas Parties can be so fun, I definitely recommend trying to host one yourself!
